Agnes Szavay

The Monte-Carlo based Hungarian is a familar face on the WTA Tour despite her young age, and is eager to become an instant hit on her Eastbourne debut in 2010.

Agnes Szavay has excellent runs at the 2007 and 2008 Wimbledon Championships, proving that her grass court game is to be respected.

She eased through three rounds of qualifying before bowing out in the second round at 2007 Wimbledon, and the following year at SW19 won three matches but fell in the last 16 to China's Jie Zheng.

However, Szavay has not won on grass since 2008 Wimbledon as she was swiftly bounced out in the opening round at the 2010 grand slam.

Peaked in early 2010 with quarter-finals run in three consecutive tournaments - Paris, Acapulco and Monterrey - after a second round exit at the 2010 Australian Open to Na Li, but has since failed to find her form and goes into the 2010 AEGON International as a player to avoid but not exactly fear.

Reached second round at 2010 French Open.

Chances of winning | No hope and unlikely to win back-to-back matches, but could test one of the big guns on grass.
