Vera Zvonareva
The Russian veteran is a regular at Eastbourne, although has never really made much impact at the event in terms of results With a career high ranking of world no5, Zvonarova's best days are firmly behind her.
Unlikley to add to her eight WTA Tour singles titles, which included the 2006 Birmingham grass court tournament.
Initially on the circuit she broke down in tears during matches, and her fragile psyche may be one of the reasons why Zvonareva never won a singles grand slam title. But the Russian did win a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
However, she saw off Venus Williams to reach her first grand slam quarter at the 2003 French Open and finally made it to the final four at a major by getting to the 2009 Australian Open semi-finals.
Without a win at Eastbourne in 2008 and 2009, the Russian struggled at the following Wimbledon events and is unlikely to make much impact at the 2010 AEGON International.
Reached second round at 2010 French Open.
Chances of winning | Mission impossible to win. A crowd-pleaser who plays a great game but lacks the power, serving ability and speed around court to really test others on grass.
